Elon Musk - He's Not Above Contact Law
"Elon Musk says he can cancel Twitter deal because the company is 'actively resisting' his efforts to study fake accounts" - Insider, June 6, 2022.
But the issue is: Can Musk actually wiggle out of the deal? After all, contract law is involved and Twitter has its army of lawyers.
Tech is taking it on the chin. Perhaps supposed visionary Musk didn't anticipate that and now wants to lower his overall risk. Yes, Twitter, like all social networks, represents revenue/profit risk. It is on the defensive in business, even snatching back job offers.
Musk might be stuck purchasing something he no longer perceives as in his wealth self-interest.
