Elite Law Firms and Brandname Professional Services - Is Traditional Promotion for Them "Window Dressing?"

 Some elite law firms create an alternate reality about new business development. Unlike most of the rest of us they don't have to take seriously traditional forms of promotion. 

In this article I analyze that phenomenon at a law firm in which I had been a communications vendor for two months. A most peculiar experience. Also I discuss the rainmaker in another kind of professional services whose brand had been enhanced by not setting up a website.
