Boomer Females Before "Roe v Wade"

 Yes, we were The Pill generation. But we knew that The Pill wasn't 100% effective. Also, we knew of someone who had experienced a stroke when on The Pill. So, I was among those who used other means of birth control, which were a lot less effective than The Pill.

That means that we who were quite aware of the consequences of a preganancy never could really enjoy sex. Not fully. Always there was the undertow of fear. 

That was the usual before "Roe v Wade." 

With the SCOTUS "Dobbs" ruling, females of childbearing age could again associate sex with fear of becoming pregnant. I feel for them.

Law Students - Subreddit for Big Law As Ultimate Mentor

The  subreddit for Big Law  is, again, the ultimate mentor.  An introvert posed the  query  about how social he has to be to succeed as a summer. He frames the question this way: If he attends all scheduled social events and stays until 10:00 AM is that "enough?" Or, does he have to move on the party-after-the-party? And, drink a lot of alcohol?  26 detailed, thoughtful comments came in. Essentially the answer was: Enough. After all law firms are filled with nerds. The guidance was to be cordial with everyone during those events as well as back in the office. (And, yes, summer is being done RTO).  As for the party-after-the-party there are stern warnings about the inherent peril. Excess, especially of alcohol consumption, has been known to cause a career setback. The Cryptos - Remember How They Crowed to Us Dinos About Their Wealth ...

  Today, bitcoin closed at $21,685.02, documents   The Wall Street Journal . But earlier in the day it was coasting down to the $20,000 layers of loser hell. Since its peak at $67,802.30 in November 2021, the market value is down 68%. Of course, in financial (as well as legal) trouble are the Winklevoss Twins. Their Gemini empire is laying off and there is no projection of things getting back any time soon. So here we dinos are. Not that we are doing so hot in our stocks and bonds.
