The Financial Times Is Quite Concerned about Our Angst at Work & Narcissists There
In the Financial Times, this article instructs you on how to overcome workplace anxiety. And this other article in the Financial Times covers how to handle the narcissist in your office.
There had been a time when we just went to work. Did the work. Then went home. Soon enough we had the benefits to retire or to have an encore career. We were not preoccupied with what is currently called "anxiety." And we probably made fun of the narcissist (but didn't use that term) with a few folks in the office whom we trusted. We didn't take any of that seriously.
These kinds of articles now a mainstay in the Financial Times and other publications will probably disappear off the digital front pages of media if a severe economic downturn overtakes the world. We will return to going to work - if we can grab some - as what we do to earn money. Should we experience anxiety we will probably ignore it.
